Browser Compatibility

The only officially supported browser for the manager area is Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher for Windows.  However, we have tested with Firefox and do our best to maintain compatibility with it. In general, Firefox works, but is slower, and in some cases has issues drawing parts of the page when modifying time blocks. Other major browsers will probably work in most areas, but we do not support them. Internet Explorer works fastest with WSDN.

The employee area, because it is simpler, is more compatible with a wide range of browsers. We officially support Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher for Windows and Firefox.  We will attempt support on any major browser for use in the employee area, but do not guarantee compatibility for browsers other than IE and Firefox.

WSDN uses highly advanced time block editors which make use of advanced Javascript technology to maximize speed with a large amount of data on the page at one time. Not all browsers understand these complex commands, or deal with them correctly. We have chosen to use our development resources to expand the rich features we provide, instead of using those resources to maintain compatibility with a large number of lesser known browsers.
