The purpose of Override Specific Week is to provide for the employee a place where they can make their availability or preference different than every week's availability. By choosing to override a specific week, employees give that week an OVERRIDE status, and the system ignores completely all the time blocks that are available in the Typical Week.
A week can has one status at a time, either NORMAL or OVERRIDE. So, be careful when you switch between the selections because you may loose data. If one week has an OVERRIDE status and you switched back to normal, you would loose all the time blocks added in it. On the other hand, if a week has an OVERRIDE status and you made changes to the Typical week, those changes won't be reflected on the "OVERRIDE" weeks.
