Posting the current schedule |
Top Previous Next |
The posted portion of the schedule is defined as the part of the schedule visible to your employees. It can be different for each department. It ranges from the current date (today) through the post date for each department. So as days pass, the start date of the posted portion moves forward, but you should never allow the posted portion to disappear. You should always keep plenty of posted area. How much is up to you.
In the Current Schedule, when in a single department, the posted days of the schedule are marked with a light blue background in the header of each day column. Days that have fallen into history have column headers with a gray background. Days that are yet un-posted and still "under construction" have column headers with a white background.
Posting the schedule is simply telling WSDN what the new post date is. There are two ways to do this.
1. Post to a specific date
This will post the schedule from the current date through Thursday, October 12th.
2. Post to the end of the view
This will post the schedule from the current date through the last day of this view, which is Sunday, October 15th.
You can post the schedule to a date previous to the current post date, to effectively un-post some or all of the schedule.
