When you add the rule, No employee should be scheduled for more than his/her maximum hours, you restrict employee's working time to his/her maximum weekly hours per week, or per view range.

This rule has the following parameter(s):
| 1. | Per week: if you choose this option, the system makes sure that the total number of hours for the employee in the week does not exceed the number that you set. |
| 2. | Per View Range: if you choose this option, the system makes sure that the total number of hours for the employee in the the view range that you are viewing on the time block editor does not exceed the number that you set. For example, if maximum weekly hours=40 for an employee, and you have the parameter per view range chosen, and you are viewing two weeks at a time, the system will not allow more than 40 hours in BOTH weeks. |
To set your employees' maximum weekly hours, you fill it in the "Autoscheduling Information" section in the User Account of the each employee.
