Welcome back to Tip Tuesday! This week we will be talking about how to edit employees attendance time blocks to account for Daylight Saving Time.
We lost an hour on Saturday night and, therefore, any employees who worked overnight have an extra hour in their attendance. In order to fix this, simply go into the attendance time block editor and select the time block you would like to edit.
In the image below you will see an option labeled “Use this # hours”. Select this option and change the number of hours to one hour less than the automatically calculated number. This will eliminate the one hour extra that they received from moving the clocks forward an hour.
Now your employees’ schedules should reflect the number of hours your employees actually worked for Daylight Saving Time.
That’s all for this week’s Tip Tuesday post! Check back next week for more tips and tricks for using WorkSchedule.Net!
