Tip Tuesday – Contact Employees

Welcome back to Tip Tuesday! This week we will be talking about the tips and tricks to contacting your employees with important information.

Have you ever wondered how you can send employees a copy of the schedule? Well there is a simple way to do this. On the left side menu under General, you simply click “Email Users”. This will bring you to the User Record where you can select the employees you want to send an email to then click on the picture of the mail in front of “Email Selected Users”. This will bring you to a prompt where you can edit the email and either include or exclude the link to the schedule. Many managers and administrators prefer this method over setting up alerts. This way they can inform the employees why the changed the schedule. You can add a lot of information in this email which can be very helpful.

Another important way to contact your employees and provide important information is to make use of the billboard. If you have an announcement to make to all of your employees you can simply post in the billboard. All you have to do is click on the billboard link on the left side menu. This will take you to a prompt to make a billboard post. Every employee can then login and view this billboard message whenever they need or want to.
