Welcome back to Tip Tuesday! This week we will be talking about mass editing users. When you want multiple users to have similar settings or qualifications, you can edit them all at once to safe time and verify that they all have the same settings. In order to do this, you must go to the user records and select the users you want to edit. Once you have selected these users, you can either click on the ” Mass Edit Selected Users” button or the “ Mass Edit Qualifications Wizard” button.
Mass Edit Selected Users:
This option allows to to add or change any settings in the user record:
You will get a page that looks like the above and upon clicking the drop down you can select any property you want. Then select “Add property”. After that you simply have to select the specific setting you want for that property and hit “Submit”. the settings will then be changed for each of the selected users.
Mass Edit Qualifications Wizard:
This setting is slightly different than the last because it only edits the qualifications of the users.
You will get a page that looks like the above and you can choose to either add or remove a qualifications. After selecting one of these options, you can click next and the next page will look similar regardless of whether you are adding or removing. You can select which category you want to edit. You will then re-select the employees you want to edit, click next and select the value you want for that category.
