Welcome back to Tip Tuesday! This week we will be talking about the Time of Day Category. In this category you can create your own Time of Day division. There is no maximum number to the amount of Time of Day divisions you can create, so you can create as many as you would like to fit your needs. Upon clicking on the Time of Day category, you will see a page like this, with your specified divisions showing:
From here you can edit any Time of Day categories that you have or you can add new categories. In order to edit the categories you already have, simply click on the green pencil button. You can also delete any categories that you would like to by clicking on the red ‘X’ button. Lastly, you can add a new category by simply clicking on the “Add new” button. You will get a page that looks like this:
Name: The regular name that this category will be called
Monthly View Name: This is the name that will show if you are viewing the monthly view in the current schedule.
Start Time: The default start time that a shift will be set to if this category is selected for the Time of Day of that shift.
End Time: The default end time that a shift will be set to if this category is selected for the Time of Day of that shift.
Color: You can set a specific color so that if you sort by the Time of Day in the current schedule, this color will show for this category.
